Analysis of Snoop Dogg's album cover.

One way that Snoop Dogg is representated on his album cover is the use of diamonds increasted in his masthead and the dog muzzles, the shining cars in the background and the huge mansion behind him and crafted into the top of it is SNOOP WORLD. This clearly shows that hes extremly wealthy and in his own world with the amount of money he earns being able to get whatever he want he can afford to pimp his dogs aswell as himself showing that hes got more money than sense. another representation is the dogs themselves wearing muzzles this may show that their dangerous and strong dogs, also the way that they are postured may seem like they are guarding or protecting him even his posture sugests that hes laid back with life and got no worries what so ever smoking his cigar this is a important feature to his album cover making him look more dominante and powerful as if hes looking down on everybody else.

Analysis Of Eminem's Relapse Album Cover

This is Eminems Relapse album cover there are lots of representations on the album cover such as the dark, gloomy and depressing atmosphere and a small cranky room in some run down house in detroit for emaxmple. These representations are shown clearly with the broken boarded up windows as if hes being caged in and be unable to get away from whats happend also the dusty unloved furniture and the rotten away back door adds tension, this to me is suggests that hes ran out of money and turned to drugs in his life losing everything that he had. Another representation is that Eminem has one hand covering his face this suggest that hes depressed as if his career has been falling aprart. The use of this might just create sympathy for him from the buyer. one other representation i have noticed on this albumcover is the way that relapse is written in a graffiti style writing with influences to me that hes been to and spent time on the streets and Aamerican ghettos. So these are the representation that have been used on Eminem's relapse album cover.

Analysis Of Lil Wayne Tha Carter 2 Album Cover.

One way that Lil Wayne is represented on this album cover is the use of colours the black and white effect makes Lil Wayne look classy and wealthy this is shown clearly with the polished black rolls royce phantom which isnt exactly one of the cheapest cars.. shimering in the lights. This suggests that he is powerful, wealthy and successful in life. Another message sent out about lil wayne on this cover is the way he wears his clothes and his muscular strong physique. One example of this representation can be seen as him without his top on lighting also effects his muscular physique by highlighting his mucles creating shadows below them aswell to make them stand out and makes his physical appearance looking more high maintenance. Also the way he wears his trousers low and baggy shows that hes from the ghettos of America. This shows that you can still get rich even if your from the poorer parts of the world and that this album cover is targeted to the audience of young black males in America. Another representation is Lil Waynes posture as he poses learning backwards onto the slick polished car rather than him being slumped forward this makes him look a lot more stronger and slick. One of the main represtations used here i think is the us of  the camera shot of Lil Wayne as its looks up towards him. This is a highly important feature as its making himself look powerful, intimidating and more dominant to everybody else.
